After finishing his residency, he earned the title of Specialist Doctor in 1998. In the early 2000s, he continued at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital as a Chief Resident. From 2000 to 2006 he served at Trabzon Fatih Regional Hospital as a General Surgery Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician.
Since 2006, Dr. Öztürk has worked at Medipol University and Nisa Hospital as an Associate Professor of Surgery and joined the MEDENLive Health Group. He has completed extensive advanced surgical training and, in 2002, performed the Black Sea region’s first laparoscopic colon resection, laparoscopic reflux surgery, and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair.
